Black Hole - Medallion

Lost in the void, Black Hole encapsulates the feeling of sinking into life's darkest moments.
A black hole is an astral phenomenon in which an astral void is created that consumes all around it, with a huge unknown on the other side. This medallion emulates that feeling of giving in to the uncontrollable and allowing an emotion to swallow one whole.
Black Hole is a melting pot of the features from both the Mikrokosmos and Nebulesse medallions. With a deep chasm at the heart of the horse, the mane, tail and tears swirl as the body of the horse is sucked in. The surrounding base features stars and debris spiraling around the void akin to the way space matter would around a real black hole.
The 'Black Hole' medallion is part of 'The Cosmic Collection', featuring two other medallions, 'Mikrokosmos' and 'Nebulesse'.
Finishes
- Each medallion is solid cast made from Smooth-Cast 300 resin.
- Prepped medallions will arrive with any mild imperfections sanded & filled with Citadel Liquid Green Stuff. Please note that, although I will do my best to correct any flaws, prints in this finish are ordered with the expectation some additional prep work may be needed prior to painting.
- Raw models will be shipped in freshly-cast condition with any flashing removed. These models may need some slight prep work prior to painting.
Scales
- One scale, 110mm wide, 120mm tall and 20mm thick
Availability
- Sold as an open run, meaning there is no limit on the number of copies produced.
- The model may be intermittently out of stock, depending on the lead times of my print provider. In the event of this, the Black Hole Medallion will still be available to purchase as an awaiting-stock pre-order.
Any form of resin - cast or 3D printed - has the potential to cause an allergic reaction, or irritation to the eyes, throat and skin - especially when cut or sanded. Wayfaring Fox Creations models are designed to allow for thorough curing on both the inside & out of a model prior to shipment. Models are designed, printed and cast with the guidance & overseeing of a 3D printing & mouldmaking industry professional to minimise risk wherever possible. For in-stock artist proof resins, despatch will be the next working day. Shipping estimates are listed at checkout, depending on your location.
A tracking number will be provided for all orders upon shipment.

Couriers are unfortunately notoriously unreliable with their handling. Models are wrapped in unbleached muslin, bamboo toilet roll and recycled bubblewrap, then placed within a secondary inner box to add structure.
I currently use Royal Mail to ship my products.
Flutter Mail is included in each purchase - this consists of freebies, discount codes and loyalty rewards. If you're purchasing a resin, a COA (certificate of authenticity) and 3D print information will also be included.
While I do take the greatest care to pack models for smooth shipment, I take no responsibility for transport damage causes by the courier(s) used.
